A year in the making

Hello everyone! I’m June Petite, and I’d like to welcome you to the home of my site, Narrative Gods, where I’ll be posting my self-published works and potentially those of others.

I write in my spare time, outside of my regular full time employment. Over the past year, I’ve developed a number of books, and begun my journey into self-publishing. Turns out, it’s a lot of work! Although I know I could have just jumped right into releasing books through Amazon with no other preparation, it seemed important to me that if I were to give this a shot, I should really do it the right way from the get go. So here we are.

It’s taken me a little longer than I wanted, but life has its own demands and priorities that must take precedent over the things we prefer to spend our time on! I try not to beat myself up over it.

Despite these not-so-unexpected setbacks, the stars are finally aligning! With the help of a close group of friends, I have some beautiful photos to use for my covers, and I’ve finally gotten around to getting this site up and running. I look forward to using this as a gathering place for my body of work, and eventually, using it to communicate with my potential future readers.

I have three completed works ready for publication, and several in the works! Soon, I hope to have information about each posted, and some actual news for each book to come. It might take me awhile to get the hang of it, especially with setting up a real, useful e-mail newsletter, but I should have something firm in place by February at the latest.
